I am a registered nurse for 40 years, with specialties focused in Labor and Delivery, OB/GYN, Infectious Diseases, and Primary Care for Adults and Children. As a former Chicagoan, I retired to care for my 89 yo mother- she has resided here in retirement for 30 years! And now I have resided in Pasco County for 3 years. I am a good listener and keen to people's needs, working together to find equitable and safe resolutions for all Floridians.
Affordable housing is desperately needed for a sustainable and productive workforce and community. It is the State's responsibility to ensure all constituents are SAFE! Constituents voices must be heard. Yes, development is progress, but legislators must work with the people to strive for affordable housing. Not at the expense of people's loss of shelter, employment, and their lives. Banning the homeless from public sites is not the way to promote healthy and safe communities. Government services must be engaged with federal and state monies.
We need to have legislators who can work with the community to build a better future for ALL of us. They must have the ability to organize their team, building on their unique skillset, and offer all Floridians options to live safely and productively in Pasco and Pinellas Counties, FL. I believe I have the leadership qualities and work ethics to be a successful Florida Senator for District 21, utilizing the expertise of my nursing career and volunteer experiences, which shaped me to be the person I am today.
A proud Democrat for Florida Senate District 21.
